Sleeping in this position puts more strain on your back and  spine since most of your weight is centered around the middle of your body, and you want your spine to be aligned with your back, and an adjustable bed will not help to relieve the strain it’s putting on the spine.

They’re always pros and cons to everything. And as good as adjustable beds have been made to sound, there are also things about it that don’t make it into the pros but instead into the cons list. Here are a few. 

Higher costs

Adjustable bed frames are way more costly than regular or traditional beds. The added cost mainly comes from the specialized adjustable bed frame and the mattress needed to make the bed work. Combining these two components makes your typical price tag for an adjustable bed significantly higher than regular beds.

It’s Extremely heavy

If you want to check the entire weight of an average traditional bed, including a mattress, framed, etc., the weight may be in the range of 200lbs give or take. 

I’m comparison; an adjustable bed may weigh up to 3 times that amount! Weights like these will make transportation or repositioning considerably more difficult.

It’s Noisy 

If you are constantly adjusting and adjusting your bed, you’ll notice that it’s not as quiet as a traditional bed that sits there and does nothing but let you lie on it.

The fact that the bed moves is enough reason for it to be noisy; perhaps this can be due to the motor that lets it move in the first place, or friction and scrubbing between different parts of the bed frame during movements. So you’ll Hear some squeaks, groans, and other noises as a result of your bed moving.
